Hi folks,
This probably is not the correct place to ask this question, but it was the best I could find (after poking around a bit).
I write scripts for a commercially licenced astroplanning application. The scripts are distributed freely and are available to all fee-paying users of this application. If I create a script that simply takes the RA/Dec of a selected object and creates a suitably structured (for Sky-Map) URL and then passes that to a browser for display, do I need to purchase a licence?
Or will the users of the script? Obviously I'm hoping that no licence purchase will be necessary!
I have no commercial or legal connection with the creators of the astroplanning application. Just a happy customer who happens to write a few scripts.
Regards
Robin
